Lightning is so far seen toting a weapon reminiscent of Squall Leonharts Gunblade, except Lightnings is either one of the other, depending on what it's set too. As such this, Lightnings weapon transforms, being either a large hand gun, or a medium sized sword. During battle the player can chose which to use, and Lightnings available skills and attacks change accordingly.
Mr.33cm is seen wielding a large enemy pistol in the most recent Final Fantasy XIII trailers. The gun looks quite top head, as well a large portion of it's design is a completely open area around it's grip, barrel an ammo.
